Development Project Service Centre (DEPROSC-Nepal) signs a contract with Reintegration of Returnee Migrants Workers (ReMi)/ Helvetas Nepal
DEPROSC-Nepal and ReMi/ Helvetas Nepal have entered into an agreement on July 03, 2023 for providing Technical Assistance on Economic Reintegration of ReMi/Helvetas. The assignment will be carried out in ReMi project area (Respective provincial line ministries of Province Koshi and Province Madhesh) and 20 local governments in Koshi Province and Madhesh Province. The consultancy period of the assignment is July 03, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
The primary objective of this consultancy is to support Employment Service Center (ESCs) in 20 selected local governments to become a hub for economic reintegration services, by improving their resources and capacities such that they are able to provide economic reintegration support to Returnee Migrant Workers and their families, based on their unique needs and the context of the localities they live in.
Specific tasks include:
- Mapping of all available services for economic reintegration and create a referral pathway,
- Developing related models, tools, curricula, training materials, key dissemination messages and monitoring mechanism for provision of economic reintegration services at ESCs,
- Capacity building of essential ESC staff, including Employment Counselors, Family Counselor and Outreach Workers.
