DEPROSC Nepal will implement Social Safety Net Project on PRRO-Social Safety Net Project in Jumla and Kalikot districts for the period of 8 months. The project is supported by United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and DEPROSC is the implementing partner of IDE. The project aims to improving food security, livelihoods and nutrition in Nepal. IDE provides technical assistance while DEPROSC is liable for social mobilization and logistics management. The project will construct/ rehabilitate 58 schemes in 7 VDCs of Kalikot and 38 schemes in 5 VDCs of Jumla on irrigation, multiple water use system (MUS), water harvest pond (WHP) and agriculture training and orchard development.
