Plan International Nepal and DEPROSC-Nepal have entered into a ‘Strategic Partnership on DRM and Humanitarian Response’ on April 01, 2025 for thirteen months. This partnership will integrate ‘Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and Humanitarian Responses’ into Plan International Nepal’s child centric programs. Plan International Nepal, a child right and gender equality organization, focuses on empowering marginalized children and families.

As agreed with Plan, DEPROSC-Nepal is conducting readiness assessment of Plan’s partners in Dhanusha, Sindhuli, Jumla, Dolpa, Kalikot and Bardiya. Moreover, it will strengthen DRM capacity among Plan International Nepal and partners through contextualization of emergency manual and simulation exercises.
