1993
DEPROSC-Nepal established with a clear vision, exceptional dedication and determination
1994
Action projects started in Surkhet, Sindhupalchok (literacy) and Syanja (drinking water system), number of research and studies completed
1995
Implemented its first microfinance project in Rautahat district with the limited banking license from the Nepal Rastra Bank
1996
Bigger projects launched: Community-based Economic Development Project (CBED), and Community-based Natural Resource Conservation and Leasehold Forestry Project with GTZ (GIZ)
1997
Microfinance program expanded in Morang with support from Plan
CBIG in Rasuwa, Market Access for Rural Development (CECI-MARD) and Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Project in Nuwakot
1998
Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project started
Community Shallow Tubewell Irrigation Project started in 5 districts of Madhesh
2001
Establishment of Deprosc Development Bank and hand over microfinance portfolio of central region to it
2003
Program expanded to Western and Far western regions (present Lumbini, Karnali and Sudur Paschim) by agreement with WFP, UNICEF and DFID.
Served conflict affected populations in most of the hills there by food for work, rehabilitation of basic education and health services.
2006
Social Welfare Council recognizes DEPROSC-Nepal as highest fund mobilizing NGO Nepal
2008
Koshi flood victims were served in large scale in partnership UNDP, WFP, Oxfam, OCHA, DDC Saptari and DDC Sunsari
2014
Performed a prime contractor of USAID to implement USAID’s BLP in 20 western districts of Nepal
2015
Implemented earthquake response activities and programs in Gorkha, Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot, Dolakha, and Kathmandu valley in collaboration with OXFAM, WFP, World Vision International
Established NADEP Microfinance Financial Institution and handed over its microfinance portfolio to NADEP
2019
Initiated first project during COVID-19 from its own resources
Started working on Migration theme
2023
Assisted in construction of 23 houses affected by flood and landslide in Kalikot. Funds were collected from PlaytoHelp, USA
2024
Until now, served 20 million populations, completed 96 projects, partnered with 37 donor agencies mobilizing NRs. 3,029,941,880.00 and 34000 MT of food
