Vacancy for Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers (ReMi) project
Development Project Service Centre (DEPROSC-Nepal), an NGO working on various thematic areas across the country invites vacancy for Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers (ReMi) project. The ReMi project, initiated in July 2022, is a bilateral initiative of the Governments of Nepal (GoN) and Switzerland. The project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented through a partnership between the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security; respective provincial line ministries and 20 local governments in Koshi Province and Madhesh Province, with technical assistance from Helvetas Nepal. DEPROSC-Nepal is assisting ReMi in fulfilling its objective of economically reintegrating migrant workers. The assignment is anticipated for a period of 04 months from the start of the contract date commencing mid-July, 2025.
Detail of Terms of Reference of Economic Reintegration Supervisor

Duty Station- Koshi Province with extensive visit to 20 Project Palikas of Madhesh Province and Koshi province
Job Description of Economic Reintegration Supervisor
- Update mapping of all available services at local, province and federal level supporting economic reintegration of returnee migrant workers, including referral pathways,
- Provide training, coaching and technical backstopping to the ESC staffs,
- Update LG wise economic reintegration case details for Economic Reintegration,
- Compute mapping and other relevant information into the system and assist ECs for the same,
- Facilitate group case conferences together with team members,
- Identify capacity building needs of Employment Counselors,
- Support to conduct events and training in the project period,
- Provide technical backstopping to Employment Counselors and facilitate in collection of case details,
- Maintain coordination with province level ReMi team, ESC team and CMC team to support project implementation,
- Prepare periodic report and submit it to the supervisor,
- Generate information required and report as asked,
- Perform any activities required for the successful implementation of ReMi project in the districts as assigned by the organizations.
Eligibility Criteria for Economic Reintegration Supervisor
Nepalese citizen with Bachelor in Social Sciences/Economics/Management or relevant field, with experience in stakeholders’ coordination, mapping, community engagement, and preferably knowledge in data-based management, entrepreneurship development, local level and private sectors engagement etc. The service involves extensive travel to project implemented Local Governments. Applicants should have a valid driving license of two-wheeler.
Working Stations for Economic Reintegration Supervisor
Economic Reintegration Supervisor will be stationed in one of the Provinces with frequent field visit to 20 project palikas of Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
