Natural Resource management and livelihood improvement programme
The program, supported by the Small Grant Program (SGP) of the Global Environment Facility (UNDP, GEF) is of one-year duration. This program aimed at facilitating GEF/SGP in its initiation of environmental conservation and raising the income level of rural population by promoting and properly handling natural resources. The program had the following approaches: Empowerment of the poor, Participation, Women first, Transparency, Decentralization, Sustainability and Environment Protection. The project served Poor agricultural households, Deprive caste families, Ethnic communities and Women in five VDCs in Dolpa district namely, Tripurakot, Raha, Dunai, Jufal and Sunhoo
