Knowledge based Integrated Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition (KISAN I)

Cooperatives were assisted to prepare their business plans for expansion of services to KISAN farmers. Altogether, 50,568 (60%) beneficiaries were linked with the formal financial institutions like saving and credit cooperatives, Micro-finance Development Banks (MFDBs) / FINGOs to increase the access to financial services.
The organization mobilized technical human resources to construct 1,190 irrigation schemes irrigating over 3,000 hectares of land reaching more than 18,698 households.
