Livelihood Improvement Programme
Donor Rural Programme Nepal/GTZ Start date February 2002 End date December 2007 Project Districts Lamjung Achievements Ten cooperatives and 29 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) were formed, developed and strengthened.
800 SHGs/members were supported through kitchen garden, bee keeping, forestry, NTFP, micro-enterprises and livestock support. 120 goats were distributed, 125 were exchanged during this period.
7.88 Ha. land is used under agro-forestry plantation.
538 members were benefited from those trainings and workshops.
Rs. 2,92,66,832.00 was collected from the SCG members as savings and mobilized that amount as loan accounting NRs. 2,17,71,506.00.
1872 households were served for their livelihood improvement.
