DEPROSC-Nepal renews its strategic partnership with Plan International Nepal
Plan International Nepal and DEPROSC-Nepal have renewed their strategic partnership for Disaster Risk Management and Humanitarian Response on 20 February 2026 till 30 June 2026. The agreement will contribute to strengthen Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and Humanitarian Response efforts in Dhanusha, Saptari, Siraha and Sarlahi districts of Madhesh province. The partnership aims to enhance institutional readiness and coordination for disaster preparedness and anticipatory action. The partnership builds on their existing collaboration and aligns with global commitments under the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, focusing on proactive risk reduction, preparedness, and resilience-building, particularly for children, adolescents, and young people. The partnership will also strengthen multi-level coordination and policy alignment for Anticipatory Actions (AA) and timely disaster response by convening provincial-level event.
