Food security and livelihood has been a national priority and one of the working areas of DEPROSC-Nepal. Our emphasis is to ensure food security among rural poor and farmers. Further, we have assisted to create environment seasonal job creation in the past. Social mobilization, institutional development, technology transfer, capacity building, micro-enterprise development and value chain are the working approaches of the organization. We have contributed in scaling up of commercial production of vegetables and linking the vegetable producer groups with major markets. We have provided agro-technologies, business management and marketing skills to our project participants. We have completed 42 projects benefitting 361,152 households under this theme.
