DEPROSC-Nepal has completed many projects on social protection and some projects are being implemented continuously with collaboration with the communities. From working for the empowerment of Freed Haliya and Kamaiya in the western 9 districts of Nepal to piloting community based micro health insurance projects in Dhading district to cash transfer programs during national emergencies and high need of humanitarian assistance, DEPROSC- Nepal has been in forefront to collaborate with national and international donors and work for the social protection of poor and vulnerable people at high risk. In community-initiated health insurance scheme 6490 members were enrolled from 1492 households including 2160 children and 3389 women whose main objective was to increase the access of health facility and distribute the financial risk among the community
