Governing Team

The organization is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, some of them are also the founder members of DEPROSC-Nepal. The organization is headed by an Executive Director (ED) who is appointed by the Board of Directors. Four different departments are managed under the supervision of ED. In addition, Internal Audit Committee, which is accountable to Board of Directors (BoD) is in place for financial compliance and monitoring.



Mr. Janardan Sharma Paudel (M.A, Acharya )

Holds a Masters of Arts in Nepali and “Acharya” in Astronomy. He has served several years as a chief district officer and joint secretary in Nepal government’s administrative services. He has also worked as Lecturer.



Mr. Shiva Prasad Devkota (M.A. Economics)

More than 15 years of professional experience in Socio-economic Research & Cottage/small industries development.



Mr. Bharat Acharya (B.A. Economics)

More than 20 years of professional experience in Development sector, Banking and Accounting.


Ms. Sophiya Acharya

20 years of involvement as an academician under Tribhuvan University



Mr. Upendra Bahadur Karki (M.A. Economics)

More than 25 years of professional experience in Rural microfinance.



Mr. Rakesh Kumar Mallik (B.Sc. Enigneering)

More than 10 years experience in civil engineering water and sanitation.
